Q.	if I measure and add 12 oz water, is the tank empty?
A.	Actually how much water you add,how much coffee will be discharged,you can press the power button to control the amount of the coffee.
Q.	Can you use the soft pod San Fran. Bay cups in it?
A.	Yes, you can. You can also have a try to use hazelnut， Hot Cocoa and any K-CUP by KEURIG.
Q.	What is the power source? what type of batteries does it use?
A.	Our CHULUX Coffee Maker doesn't work with battery,it need to plug the power supply and work under 120V ,60 Hz circumstance.
Q.	Must you let the unit cool down if making more than one mugful at one time, and if so how long?
A.	No need to let it cool down. I've been making coffee for my husband and then one for myself without waiting in between with no issues. Of course you will want to be cautious when removing the k-cup because it's still pretty warm but I just pick it up by the outer edges of the top and haven't burned myself or had a problem.
